About Us

日本語を学ぶことは、未来の扉を開く鍵を手に入れることだ

Learning Japanese means obtaining the key that unlocks the doors to your future.

Our Story

How Yamazakura began

[Academy Story] — the founding paragraph. Where the idea came from, what was missing in Japanese teaching locally, and the decision to build something around conversation rather than exam drilling.

A second paragraph on the early years — the first batches, the first corporate engagement, how the curriculum settled into its present shape.

A third on where the academy is today: JLPT preparation from N5 through N2, corporate programs run inside client offices, and interpretation work that keeps the teaching connected to real business Japanese.

This column takes as many paragraphs as the story needs — the measure and rhythm hold at four, six, or ten.

Our Mission

[Mission Statement] — one or two sentences the academy stands behind. Kept large and alone on the page so it reads as a promise rather than a paragraph.

Our Approach

Four stages, repeated every level

The same cycle runs from N5 through N2. Nothing is learned that isn't then spoken, used, and built on.

01学

Learn

Grammar, vocabulary and script introduced in the order they're actually needed to hold a conversation.

02習

Practice

Spoken drills every session. Reading and listening built around the same material so nothing sits idle.

03用

Apply

Workplace scenarios, etiquette, and the cultural context that decides whether a sentence lands well.

04伸

Grow

Assessment, JLPT readiness, and the next level — or the interview the language was learned for.

[Biography] — how the teaching practice was formed, what a session with her is like, and what she expects from students. Two to four paragraphs sit comfortably here.
